For those of you that have health insurance, you may be pleasantly surprised to discover that your policy covers massage. This is especially true in the case of automobile accidents, personal injury cases and worker’s compensation cases. More doctors than ever are now coming around to the proactive side of good health and are recommending massage, not just for healing, but for preventative health. Chiropractors and physicians can write prescriptions for massage and I am licensed to fill them.

To keep my costs down, I do not file insurance for you. However, I can provide the therapeutic records, SOAP notes and letter of support that you need to file with the insurance company. In most cases, simply mailing these to your insurance company along a copy of your prescription is all you need to do to be reimbursed.

If you are making an appointment with your medical or osteopathic doctor, you may wish to bring a copy of my one-sheet to them. It has information about my practice and a prescription form for them to fill out.
