This is the pride symbol for transgender individuals like myself. I am an openly transgender woman and am always happy to share my story with you. If you would like to learn more about me or about transgenderism, please do ask. I do lots of outreach trying to educate people and would love the opportunity to share with you. The rainbow symbol is the symbol of diversity and this particular rainbow is the pride symbol for the GLBT community, or the gay-lesbian-bisexual-transgender community. Besides identifying as a transgender woman, I also identify, however loosely, as a lesbian.
This is the American Sign Language symbol combining letters “I”, “L” and “Y” and means “I Love You”. I studied sign language before and my racquetball buddy in college was deaf, so I learned a lot. American Sign language is one of the most beautiful languages and fun to learn.
